What valet and meet-and-greet mean
Valet normally means an attendant parks the vehicle after a handover. The handover may be at a private facility, with a shuttle still required. A meet-and-greet service uses an agreed meeting point. Neither label alone establishes terminal-curb access, covered storage or a particular return procedure.
If an attended service becomes available
Before choosing a separately advertised valet or meet-and-greet service, obtain written confirmation of:
- The authorized handover point and where the vehicle will be stored.
- Any shuttle, operating hours and arrangements after a flight delay.
- The key handover, vehicle inspection, identification and collection procedures.
- The complete price, vehicle restrictions, cancellation terms and damage-reporting process.
Follow the provider’s confirmed instructions and retain the handover receipt. Do not arrive at a terminal curb expecting an attendant without an agreed service and meeting point.
