Start with the address on your parking confirmation
A route to Albuquerque International Sunport takes you to the airport, while an off-airport parking reservation requires you to check in at the selected property. Set the correct destination before leaving home. Driving to the terminal first can add an unnecessary loop and reduce the time available for the shuttle.
For a named hotel, match the full hotel name and street address to the confirmation. The limited-spots ABQ offer reveals the facility after booking; wait for those instructions before choosing a map destination. Do not infer that a promotional listing is a particular hotel.

Approaching the Sunport and allowing enough time
Sunport Boulevard links the I-25 interchange with the terminal loop. Use current navigation for the drive, then follow the airport signs for arrivals, departures or the parking area you have chosen. The entrance for a reserved hotel lot may be elsewhere, so the airport route should not override the booking directions.
Build a buffer after reaching the property for vehicle registration, parking, unloading and shuttle waiting. The airport’s busy-travel guidance recommends reaching the terminal at least two hours before departure. Work backward from that target and your airline’s check-in deadline, rather than treating a map’s drive time as the complete journey.

Plan the transfer for everyone traveling
Confirm whether the actual vehicle can accommodate a wheelchair, mobility aid, child seat or the amount of luggage your party will bring. Accessible parking spaces alone do not establish an accessible shuttle. Discuss assistance with the operator before booking, and arrange airport wheelchair support through the airline.
If one driver will unload passengers at the terminal before taking the car to a private lot, include that extra drive in the schedule. Agree where to meet and who has the travel documents. Use signed loading areas and follow airport staff instructions.

Save the route back to your car
Keep the confirmation number, parking address, supplier telephone number and return pickup instructions available offline. After landing, collect your luggage and follow the operator’s procedure for requesting a transfer. The airport drop-off point is not necessarily the return meeting point.
For an independently arranged ride, the airport identifies Door 7 on baggage claim level for rideshare and Door 2 for taxis. A hotel or parking shuttle may use a different meeting point: follow the instructions for your booking. If your flight is delayed, contact the parking operator about both the transfer and any extension of the stay.
